硕士及本科毕业于北京理工大学光电工程系，2005年在英国西英格兰大学访学三个月，2008年7月毕业于北京理工大学信息学院获博士学位，2012年6月至2013年6月在英国谢菲尔德大学自动控制与系统工程系访学一年。2018年12月-2019年3月，在加拿大滑铁卢大学应用数学系访学三个月。
